Cyseekin Warranty Terms

Effective from: January 1, 2025

This limited warranty is provided by Cyseekinbike, Inc. (“Cyseekin”) and applies exclusively to products purchased directly through the official website (cyseekinbike.com). Purchases made through other channels (e.g., Amazon, local dealers) are subject to their respective terms.

🇪🇺 Important note about your legal rights:
This voluntary manufacturer’s warranty applies in addition to the statutory warranty rights you have as a consumer in the EU (24 months statutory warranty). Your legal rights regarding defects are not limited by this warranty.

1. Warranty Period & Coverage

A. 2-Year Warranty (Core Components)

We provide a warranty of 24 months from the delivery date on the following main components:

  • Electrical System: Motor (≤250W), lithium-ion battery (UL-certified), charger (CE/FCC compliant), and LCD display.
  • Frame: Aluminum alloy frame (6061-T6) and fork (against structural breakage).

B. 1-Year Warranty (Components)

The following parts are covered for 12 months:

  • Controller, sensors (PAS), wiring harness.
  • Headlight, taillights, brake levers, throttle grip.
  • Mechanical parts: stem, handlebars, rims, hubs, bottom bracket, crankset, seat post, luggage rack.

Note: Pedals are only covered against manufacturing defects (design/production), not wear or breakage from impact.

2. What We Cover (and What We Don’t)

We provide:

  • Free replacement parts for defective components within the warranty period.
  • Coverage of shipping costs to send the replacement part to you.

We do NOT cover (exclusions):

  • Labor costs: Costs for installation or repair at a workshop are not covered unless previously approved in writing.
  • Return shipping costs: If you need to send a defective part to us for inspection, you bear the shipping costs (except for defects immediately after receipt).
  • Wear parts: Tires, tubes, brake pads, chains, grips, spokes, etc. are excluded from the warranty (except for material defects upon arrival).

3. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty is void in the following cases:

  • Corrosion damage due to weather exposure (rust, oxidation).
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, stunt riding, or overloading.
  • Use of unauthorized parts (tuning, aftermarket parts).
  • Water damage to the battery caused by pressure washers or improper storage.
  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) resulting from normal use.
Battery care note: Please clean the battery contacts regularly and store the battery in a dry environment at temperatures between -20°C and 50°C. Deep discharge from months of non-use will void the warranty.

4. Transferability (Second Owners)

The warranty is transferable to subsequent owners. The new owner benefits from the remaining term of the 2-year warranty starting from the original purchase date.

Requirement: Presentation of the original purchase receipt (name of the first buyer & order number).

5. Shipping Damage

If your e-bike is delivered damaged:

  1. Contact us within 3 days of receipt at support@cyseekinbike.com.
  2. Send photos or videos of the damage and the packaging.

Note: Damage reports after more than 14 days will not be accepted.

6. How to File a Warranty Claim

Send an email to our support team with photos/videos of the issue. We do not replace parts without first seeing proof of the defect.

Important note on chargebacks:
If a credit card chargeback is initiated for an order while the product is still in your possession, this warranty immediately becomes void until the matter is resolved.
