Cyseekin Warranty Terms

Valid from: January 1, 2025

This limited warranty is provided by Cyseekinbike, Inc. (“Cyseekin”) and applies exclusively to products purchased directly from the official website ( cyseekinbike.com ). Purchases made through other channels (e.g., Amazon, local retailers) are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

🇪🇺 Important information regarding your legal rights:
This voluntary manufacturer's warranty is in addition to the statutory warranty rights to which you, as a consumer in the EU, are entitled (24-month statutory warranty). Your statutory rights in the event of defects are not limited by this warranty.

1. Warranty period & coverage

A. 2-year warranty (core components)

We offer a 24-month warranty from the date of delivery on the following main components:

  • Electrical system: Motor (≤250W), lithium-ion battery (UL certified), charger (CE/FCC compliant) and LCD display.
  • Frame: Aluminum alloy frame (6061-T6) and fork (resistant to structural breakage).

B. 1 year warranty (components)

The following parts are covered for 12 months :

  • Controller, sensors (PAS), wiring harness.
  • Headlights, taillights, brake lever, throttle grip.
  • Mechanical parts: stem, handlebars, rims, hubs, bottom bracket, crankset, seat post, luggage rack.

Note: Pedals are only insured against manufacturing defects (design/production), not against wear and tear or breakage due to impact.

2. What we will take over (and what we will not)

We offer:

  • Free replacement parts for defective components within the warranty period.
  • We will cover the shipping costs for sending the replacement part to you.

We do NOT accept (exclusion):

  • Labor costs: Costs for installation or repair in a workshop will not be covered unless this has been approved in writing beforehand.
  • Return shipping costs: If you need to send a defective part to us for inspection, you will bear the shipping costs (except for defects immediately after receipt).
  • Wear parts: Tires, tubes, brake pads, chains, grips, spokes, etc. are excluded from the warranty (except in case of material defects upon arrival).

3. Warranty Exclusion

This warranty is void in the following cases:

  • Corrosion damage caused by weathering (rust, oxidation).
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, stunt driving or overloading.
  • Use of unauthorized parts (tuning, aftermarket parts).
  • Water damage to the battery caused by high-pressure cleaners or improper storage.
  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) caused by normal use.
Battery care instructions: Please clean the battery contacts regularly and store the battery in a dry environment at temperatures between -20°C and 50°C. Deep discharge due to months of not charging will void the warranty.

4. Transferability (second owner)

The warranty is transferable to subsequent owners. The new owner benefits from the remaining term of the 2-year warranty from the original purchase date.

Prerequisite: Presentation of the original purchase receipt (name of the original buyer & order number).

5. Shipping damage

Should your e-bike arrive damaged:

  1. Please contact us within 3 days of receipt at support@cyseekinbike.com .
  2. Please send photos or videos of the damage and the packaging.

Note: Damage reports submitted after more than 14 days will not be accepted.

6. How to submit a warranty claim

Please send an email to our support team with photos/videos of the problem. We do not replace parts without first seeing proof of the defect.

Important information regarding chargebacks:
Should a credit card chargeback be initiated for an order while the product is still in your possession, this guarantee will be voided immediately until the matter is resolved.
