Cyseekin C20 display guide: screen, symbols, and error codes explained simply
Your Cyseekin C20 display shows important information such as battery status, speed, support level, ride data, and possible error codes. In this guide, we explain the most important functions step by step.
1. Overview: What does the C20 display show?
On the main screen, you can see the most important information at a glance while riding. This includes, among other things, the current speed, battery status, support level, and various ride data.
2. The most important display symbols
The following symbols help you better understand the current status of your e-bike.
3. Buttons on the C20 display
The C20 display is operated using three buttons: power button, plus button, and minus button. With these, you can turn the display on and off, switch ride data, and adjust the support level.
| Button | Function | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Power button | Turn on and off, switch ride data | Start display, show information such as distance or total kilometers |
| Plus button | Increase support level | More support on inclines, against wind, or with heavy loads |
| Minus button | Reduce support level, activate walk assist | Save battery or assist the bike while pushing |
4. Turning the display on and off
- Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to turn on the display.
- After turning on, speed, battery level, and other information appear on the screen.
- To turn off, press and hold the power button again for a few seconds.
5. Display Ride Data
By briefly pressing the power button, you can switch between different ride information. Depending on the software version, the following data may be displayed:
| Display | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Trip | Daily distance or current trip distance |
| AVG | Average speed |
| Vol | Battery voltage |
| ODO | Total kilometers of the bike |
6. Using Support Levels Correctly
You can adjust the support level using the plus and minus buttons. A low level is suitable for relaxed rides and saving energy. A higher level can be helpful on inclines, against wind, or with additional load.
7. Activating Walk Assist
The walk assist supports you when you need to push the e-bike, for example on a ramp, in an underground garage, or on a short steep section.
- Make sure the bike is stationary or moving very slowly.
- Hold down the minus button.
- The walk assist symbol appears on the display.
- Release the minus button to end the walk assist.
8. Lighting
The lighting of the C20 is controlled via the corresponding light switch. Depending on the version, a light symbol may be displayed on the screen.
If the light does not work as expected, please first check whether the battery is sufficiently charged and whether all visible cable connections are properly seated.
9. Display Settings
The display has a settings menu. This menu is mainly intended for basic display settings, such as choosing between kilometers and miles.
10. Understanding Error Codes
When the display detects a malfunction, an error code appears. This code helps to narrow down the problem more quickly.
| Error code | Possible meaning | Recommended initial check |
|---|---|---|
| E01 | Possible motor phase error | Turn off the e-bike and check visible cable connections |
| E04 | Communication error | Check plug connections between display, controller, and wiring harness |
| E08 | Overvoltage protection | Check battery and system again after restart |
| E10 | Possible controller error | Restart the system and document the error display |
| E20 | Possible switch or control element error | Check brake lever, switch, and cable connections |
| E40 | Possible motor Hall sensor error | Check motor connection and contact support |
- Turn off the e-bike.
- Check that all visible cable connections are firmly seated.
- Turn the e-bike on again.
- If the error continues to appear, please take a photo or a short video of the display.
- Send the error code and the recording to Cyseekin Support.
11. Care Instructions for the Display
| Recommendation | Why is this important? |
|---|---|
| Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth | Protects the surface of the display |
| Do not direct a strong water jet directly at the display | Reduces the risk of moisture damage |
| Do not disconnect cables while the system is on | Protects electronic components |
| Do not change advanced parameters without consultation | Prevents malfunctions caused by incorrect settings |
