Yes, the battery is lockable and can only be removed with the key. Two keys are included. Please keep the spare key in a safe place.
How heavy is the bicycle actually, including the battery? Will it fit in the trunk of a car or in a camper van?
Thanks to its magnesium alloy frame, this e-bike weighs only 18.6 kg (including battery)! It's significantly lighter than conventional models. When folded, it's very compact and fits perfectly in any car trunk or the rear garage of a camper van.
Is the e-bike legal to ride on public roads in Germany? Do I need a license plate?
The bicycle is equipped with a 250W motor and provides assistance up to 25 km/h (pedelec). It complies with EN15194 standards. When used in pedal-assist mode, no license plate is required. It is ideal for city traffic and commuting.
